The Department is organized to ensure the safe, effective and efficient deployment of sufficient personnel, equipment, and other resources as necessary. The Fire Chief has organized the District in such a manner as to effectively establish a routine chain of command for daily operations.
Fire Chief Mark Gregory is responsible for the daily operations of the fire district, for developing and instituting a chain of command, and for developing a set of procedures within the adopted district policies, state laws and regulations. Deputy Chief Steven Slater is the senior officer in the absence of the Fire Chief.
Lieutenant Erin Burgman is our Emergency Medical Services Officer (EMSO). She is the department coordinator for EMS oversight and quality assurance.
Volunteer lieutenants lead our three duty sections. Lieutenants Ron Smith, Donovan McCartney and William Hardesty have a significant impact on volunteer staffing, operational readiness and the service we provide.
Lieutenant Dale Bamford oversees our respiratory protection program and self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA).
Lieutenant Beverly Wright leads Emergency Vehicle Driver Training (EVDT), along with other training programs and the development of new members.
